Alissa was being squirrelly.  No different from usual, really, but I was beginning to see my wit’s end.

“Mommy,” she said out of the blue, “are you frust-er-ated with me?  I’m sorry, Mommy.  I’ll try to make you not frust-er-ated.”

Well, I was, but how am I supposed to stay frust-er-ated when you say cute things like that??
